The Cat and the Fiddle
If you put a cat and a fiddle together, which one would you pay most attention to?
Would they take on special significance? Would the philosophers expect lovers to care
about the deeper meanings of “catness” and “fiddleness’?
Or would there be a clown wise enough to tell us, “Hey diddle, diddle the cow jumped over the moon.”
